Our scarf is an excellent mix of the natural beige, light blue and light gray color. This particularly stunning blue was made from locally grown plants and may differ slightly in intensity from the specimen pictured. The scarves are made using traditional techniques on South American looms and are unique. Each of them is an aesthetic masterpiece and therefore a real eye-catcher.

Animal welfare and responsibility in all manufacturing processes

The wool from the llamas is obtained through a manual shearing process that fully respects the animal and does not harm it. Animals are kept in the wild in a manner appropriate to their species (this is part of the culture in these regions of the Andes). In this way, we ensure animal welfare. Our llama scarves are made locally in several communities in the Andes. Our artisans work with a variety of techniques ranging from hand spinning to hand weaving. This is part of the textile tradition in South America, which is passed down from generation to generation and the products are made with local and natural raw materials.

Anti-allergy – Warm – Soft – Breathable – Dirt-repellent

Our llama products provide optimal warmth in winter and when it's hot, this fiber feels cool. Flame fiber is a natural product that "breathes". In addition, the natural flame fiber has an antibacterial effect, that is, bacteria cannot multiply on its surface and die. Lastly, llama fiber is biodegradable. The flame fiber repels dirt and neutralizes odors, that is, it can release odors when ventilated.

100% Llama Wool

Tip: It is better to ventilate once more than to wash. Flame fiber is naturally stain resistant and self-cleaning to some extent. Simply leave this product outdoors overnight. This allows the fibers to regain their natural moisture.

Cleaning
Hand wash:
This is the recommended method for washing our llama wool products. It is important to remember that wool can shrink when the temperature changes underwater, so we recommend using room temperature water and white or delicate curd soap (preferably organic).

Dry:
Remove excess water, but avoid excessive shaking, folding or wrinkling. We do not recommend the use of dryers. The best option is to let the product rest on a towel and bed (to avoid deformation) and then let it dry in a dry environment or outdoors, but away from direct sunlight. Be sure to stretch garments by hand to reduce wrinkles.

Storage:
It is important to ensure that the garment is completely dry before storing it and that it is also protected from moths. Dried lavender packets can be helpful. We do not recommend the use of mothballs.
