XL throw in llama and sheep wool with a large check pattern in brown and earth tones. It is loom-woven and hand-finished in north-western Argentina, with a pleasant flannel-like finish and fringes at the ends. Our responsibility: animal welfare and sustainability
We work with a B Corp–certified social enterprise that drives the socio-economic development of the Argentinian Puna through the sustainable use of animals and resources. The llamas and sheep live freely, cared for by producers in the Andes, and are shorn by hand with special scissors, so they keep enough coat to protect themselves from temperature changes and rain at that altitude.
Warm – soft – robust – environmentally friendly
Llama fibre is made of natural proteins with very little lanolin and grease, which makes it hypoallergenic. It is also warm, light, robust and water-repellent, insulates very well and regulates temperature.
