A scarf made from natural fibres, hand-spun and handwoven by a community of women weavers in the Altiplano of the Argentine Andes. The colours are the natural colours of the fibre, plus natural dyes from the region: woods, seeds, plants and herbs.
Our scarf is the perfect accessory for colder days, worn over the shoulders, over a blouse or coat, or tied around the neck.
We believe in craftsmanship and quality.
To create our scarf, we work with a community of artisans in Argentina using ancestral techniques passed down from generation to generation. In Argentina, llamas and alpacas were crossed, giving rise to the Argentine llama, prized for its excellent sheen, silkiness and fineness.
Our collection is based on the natural colours of the wool (from natural white to black and various shades of grey and brown) and uses natural dyes from the region (wood, seeds, plants and herbs), without chemical processes, to keep pollutants low for people and the environment.
Anti-allergic – Warm – Fluffy – Breathable – Dirt-repellent
This noble, high-quality llama fibre has special properties: it is made of natural proteins with very little lanolin and grease, so it is hypoallergenic. It is also warm, light, strong and water-repellent, with excellent insulating and temperature-regulating properties. In addition, natural llama fibre is antibacterial: bacteria cannot multiply on its surface and die off. Finally, llama fibre is biodegradable.
