Our sweater made of 100% llama fiber with a crew neck and a straight cut impresses with its colorful design. This individual sweater is lovingly developed and hand-knitted by craftswomen in the Andes. With an exciting pattern made from natural dyes, this long-sleeved sweater can be worn just as well with plain bottoms as it can be worn boldly in a mix of patterns with a dress or skirt.
The model with a gray sweater (1.65 m) is wearing a large M.
Design and art from South America.
A wonderful sweater hand-knitted with circular knitting needles ensures a striking look in the winter time. Old textile traditions from the Andes were used for this article. Llama fiber is obtained from small producers in the Andes. The processing is carried out entirely by hand using natural plant dyes and traditional techniques such as puiscas or distaffs. All these processes make our Lanin sweater a favorite piece, supporting the work of many craftsmen. From TASHAY we support the work of many families and producers from the Andes by securing fair social standards and jobs.
Warm – Robust – Natural – Ethically produced
Llamas are animals that live in the extreme conditions of South America. In order to adapt to these harsh climatic conditions, they develop special protection: a long, fine fur, which is particularly warm and robust. Our Lanin sweater is 100% natural as it is not mixed with artificial materials and is therefore ecological and environmentally friendly. In addition, the entire manufacturing process is ensured under fair working conditions, preserving the traditional techniques of communities while paying attention to fair pay.
