Scarf made from natural fibers from northwest Argentina. During production, the scarf is woven by machine and processed by hand.
Our scarf with a flannel look is the ideal companion for the cooler seasons.
Our supplier is a certified “B Corp” company, which in turn works with the renowned Warmi Sayajsunqo Association, which operates in the Puna communities in northwest Argentina, where the llamas are raised by producers with scarce economic and natural resources. The producers' fibers are purchased directly by the association under fair trade conditions and the profits from the textiles sold are used by the community to finance health, resource management, crafts and education projects.
Animal welfare, a transparent supply chain and social commitment are at the heart of our work.
The llamas' wool is obtained through a manual shearing process that completely respects the animal and does not harm it. The animals are kept in a species-appropriate manner in the wild (this is part of the culture in these regions in the Andes). In this way we ensure animal welfare.
