Round neck sweater with drawstrings in a ribbed structure on the arms give the sweater a particularly cozy touch. The Wildlife Friendly certified sweater made from Merino, one of the most valuable naturally derived yarns, is knitted on a hand machine at a family business in Argentina; that makes this garment truly unique and infinitely beautiful.

Merino sheep are free and undisturbed and have a healthy and natural diet. Finally, they are sheared regularly (between October and November) and better wool is obtained when they reach adulthood.

As a result, they are regarded for their fiber, which is considered to be one of the finest and noblest in the world. Out of love for animals, our Merino wool is mulesing-free wool

The models are wearing size S.

Highest quality and responsibility from Patagonia.

Land use on the Valdés Peninsula was based primarily on sheep farming. The Península Valdés is a 4,000 square kilometer protected area in Patagonia that was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. Ranchers there are committed to coexistence between sheep farming for wool production and healthy wild animal populations. This means that responsible standards are set that take into account the sustainable use of grasslands in coexistence with native herbivores.

The certified Wildlife Friendly™ wool is therefore fully traceable and processed according to responsible standards and certified protocols.

In this wild, cold and uninhabited region, Merino sheep herds graze freely and undisturbed and have a healthy and natural diet. Finally, they are sheared regularly (between October and November) and better wool is obtained when they reach adulthood.

As a result, they are regarded for their fiber, which is considered to be one of the finest and noblest in the world. Out of love for animals, our Merino wool is mulesing-free wool.

Environmentally friendly - ultra soft - exclusive - elegant - supple

The Merino wool comes exclusively from the selected fibers of our best Merino breed animals in Peninsula Valdes. Every single step of the process (from raising the animals to spinning) follows a strict procedure with a specific protocol to ensure not only the quality of our products, but also the way we obtain and then design them.

This merino wool is characterized by its softness and at the same time its warmth. Thanks to its insulating properties, it keeps you warm in winter, is comfortable on hot days and is odorless throughout the days. Finally - due to its unique fiber structure - Merino wool has self-cleaning properties. This means that frequent washing is unnecessary.

100% Merino wool

Tip
It's better to air it out more than to wash it. Merino wool is naturally dirt-repellent and self-cleaning to a certain extent. Simply leave this product outside in the fresh air overnight. This allows the fibers to regain their natural moisture.

cleaning
Hand wash:
This is the recommended method for washing our Merino wool products. It is important to remember that wool can shrink under water due to temperature fluctuations, so we recommend using room temperature water and white or delicate curd soap (preferably organic).
If you like, you can of course also use professional cleaning.

dry
Remove excess water but avoid excessive shaking, folding or creasing. We advise against using tumble dryers. The best option is to let the product rest lying on a towel and bed (to avoid deformation) and then let it dry in a dry environment or outdoors but away from direct sunlight. Be sure to stretch the garments by hand to reduce wrinkles.

storage
It is important to ensure that the garment is completely dry before storage and that it is also protected against moths. Dried lavender packs may be useful. We advise against using mothballs.
