Made from baby alpaca and produced in Peru, this reversible, two-tone item is designed to adapt to different rooms in the house, be taken on trips and even used as a warm scarf.
An enrichment for every living room, sleeping area and wardrobe.

We value textile traditions that embody culture from South America.

Our business philosophy is to promote sustainable textile production in small and medium-sized businesses and producers in the Andes, from Peru to southern Argentina, and to enhance culture and traditional work in isolated areas.

Cuddly warming naturally soothing – breathable

Alpacas belong to the group of camelids that live in the extreme conditions of the Andean highlands in Peru and Bolivia: at an altitude of almost 4,500 meters and at temperatures between -20°C and +20°C. In order to adapt to these harsh climatic conditions, they develop special protection: a long, fine and particularly warm fur. Unlike other, more well-known types of wool, alpaca wool is an active fiber that reacts to changes in body temperature. So it helps you stay warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather.

100% baby alpaca

Tip
It's better to air it out more than to wash it. The baby alpaca is naturally dirt-repellent and self-cleaning to a certain extent. Simply leave this product outside in the fresh air overnight. This allows the fibers to regain their natural moisture.

cleaning
Hand wash:
This is the recommended method for washing our baby alpaca products. It is important to remember that wool can shrink under water due to temperature fluctuations, so we recommend using room temperature water and white or delicate curd soap (preferably organic).
If you like, you can of course also use professional cleaning.

dry
Remove excess water but avoid excessive shaking, folding or creasing. We advise against using tumble dryers. The best option is to let the product rest lying on a towel and bed (to avoid deformation) and then let it dry in a dry environment or outdoors but away from direct sunlight. Be sure to stretch the garments by hand to reduce wrinkles.

storage
It is important to ensure that the garment is completely dry before storage and that it is also protected against moths. Dried lavender packs may be useful. We advise against using mothballs.
