Made from baby alpaca in Peru, this reversible two-tone piece is designed for different spaces in the home, can be taken on your travels and can even be worn as a warm scarf.
An enrichment for every living room, bedroom and wardrobe.

We value the textile traditions that embody South American culture.

Our business philosophy is to promote sustainable textile production on small and medium-sized farms and among producers in the Andes, from Peru to southern Argentina, and to strengthen traditional culture and work in remote areas.

Tender – warm – naturally soothing – breathable

Alpacas belong to the camelid family and live in the extreme conditions of the Andean highlands of Peru and Bolivia, at almost 4,500 metres and temperatures between -20°C and +20°C. To adapt to this harsh climate, they develop a special protection: a long, fine and particularly warm coat. Unlike better-known wools, alpaca is an active fibre that responds to changes in body temperature, keeping you warm in cold weather and cool in warm weather.

100% baby alpaca

Tip
It's better to air it out more than to wash it. The baby alpaca is naturally dirt-repellent and self-cleaning to a certain extent. Simply leave this product outside in the fresh air overnight. This allows the fibers to regain their natural moisture.

cleaning
Hand wash:
This is the recommended method for washing our baby alpaca products. It is important to remember that wool can shrink under water due to temperature fluctuations, so we recommend using room temperature water and white or delicate curd soap (preferably organic).
If you like, you can of course also use professional cleaning.

dry
Remove excess water but avoid excessive shaking, folding or creasing. We advise against using tumble dryers. The best option is to let the product rest lying on a towel and bed (to avoid deformation) and then let it dry in a dry environment or outdoors but away from direct sunlight. Be sure to stretch the garments by hand to reduce wrinkles.

storage
It is important to ensure that the garment is completely dry before storage and that it is also protected against moths. Dried lavender packs may be useful. We advise against using mothballs.
