Tender – warm – naturally calming – breathable
Alpacas belong to the group of camelids that live in the extreme conditions of the Andean highlands of Peru and Bolivia: at an altitude of almost 4,500 meters and temperatures between -20°C and +20°C. To adapt to these harsh climatic conditions, they develop special protection: a long, fine and especially warm coat. Unlike other better-known types of wool, alpaca wool is an active fiber that responds to changes in body temperature. Therefore, it helps you stay warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather.
