  • Black and natural

Blanket or plaid with a "bird's eye pattern" made of natural fibers, carefully spun and hand-woven by a community of weavers from the Argentine Andean Altiplano. The colors used are the natural colors of the wool, with no artificial dyes, making this blanket unique and great.

These Latin American crafts are also characterized by exceptional quality and design. The plush blanket embellishes any lively look on the sofa and keeps you warm on the coldest days.

Our unique selling points: meticulous attention to detail

Blanket handwoven on a foot loom with 100% natural llama wool and hand-spun yarn. The colors used are the natural colors of the fiber, making each final product unique.

Our blanket is unique and that is why no two blankets are the same. This product is carefully handwoven by a community of weavers from the Argentine Andean Altiplano, who live at an altitude of about 5000 m. These towns are difficult to access. Artisans use traditional techniques that are passed down from generation to generation. That said, colors, patterns, and details may vary, but none of this makes this blanket any less beautiful and special.

Robust – warm – tender – environmentally friendly

This noble and high-quality llama fiber is characterized by its special properties: Llama fiber is composed of natural proteins with very low lanolin and fat content, making it hypoallergenic. This fiber is also warm, light, resistant, water-repellent and has excellent insulating properties and also has a temperature-regulating effect. In addition, the natural flame fiber has an antibacterial effect, that is, bacteria cannot multiply on its surface and die. Lastly, llama fiber is biodegradable.

100% Llama Wool

Please note that the garment may lose hair at first. It is a 100% natural product, it does not contain acrylic or other artificial materials.

Tip: It is better to ventilate once more than to wash. Flame fiber is naturally stain resistant and self-cleaning to some extent. Simply leave this product outdoors overnight. This allows the fibers to regain their natural moisture.

Cleaning
Hand wash:
This is the recommended method for washing our llama wool products. It is important to remember that wool can shrink when the temperature changes underwater, so we recommend using room temperature water and white or delicate curd soap (preferably organic).

Dry:
Remove excess water, but avoid excessive shaking, folding or wrinkling. We do not recommend the use of dryers. The best option is to let the product rest on a towel and bed (to avoid deformation) and then let it dry in a dry environment or outdoors, but away from direct sunlight. Be sure to stretch garments by hand to reduce wrinkles.

Of course, if you want, you can also use professional cleaning.

Storage:
It is important to ensure that the garment is completely dry before storing it and that it is also protected from moths. Dried lavender packets can be helpful. We do not recommend the use of mothballs.
