Design and art from South America.
A wonderful sweater with hand-knitted circular knitting needles guarantees an eye-catching look in winter. Ancient textile traditions from the Andes have been used for this article. Llama fiber is extracted from small producers in the Andes. The production is done entirely by hand with natural vegetable dyes and traditional techniques such as puiscas or rock spinning. All of these processes make our Lanín sweater one of the favorites, which encourages the work of many artisans. At TASHAY, we support the work of many families and producers in the Andes, ensuring social standards and fair jobs.
Warm – Robust – Natural – Ethically Made
Llamas are animals that live in the extreme conditions of South America. To adapt to these harsh climatic conditions, they develop special protection: a long, fine coat that is particularly warm and robust. Our Lanin sweater is 100% natural, as it is not mixed with artificial materials, making it ecological and environmentally friendly. Furthermore, the entire manufacturing process is guaranteed under fair working conditions, where traditional techniques of the communities are preserved, while paying attention to fair payment.
