This scarf is the accessory made from the finest natural fiber from Peru, the baby alpaca. Great soft and light scarf in two-tone design. The fine-pile alpaca fibers provide thermal balance and at the same time have an insulating effect on cold days.

We defend fair working conditions and the socioeconomic development of South America .

Our cooperation partner has the Fair Trade Certificate of Peru, "GRI", Peruvian Alpaca Brand and is part of the International Alpaca Association. Each TASHAY product has a positive social and environmental impact through job creation in Latin America and the sustainable use of animals and resources.

Anti-allergy - Warm - Soft - Breathable - Dirt-repellent

Alpacas are animals that live in the extreme conditions of the Andean highlands of South America: at an altitude that can exceed 4,500 meters and at temperatures between -20°C and +20°C. Baby alpaca fiber comes mainly from the alpacas' first shearing when they are approximately 2 and a half years old. To adapt to these harsh climatic conditions, they develop special protection: a long, fine coat that does not retain water and is particularly warm. Regarding this delicacy of the fiber, our scarves are very soft and hypoallergenic. For this reason, they are very suitable for sensitive and delicate skin. Unlike other better-known types of wool, alpaca wool is an active fiber that responds to changes in body temperature. Therefore, it helps you stay warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather.

100% baby alpaca

Tip: It is better to ventilate once more than to wash. Baby Alpaca is naturally dirt-repellent and self-cleaning to some extent. Simply leave this product outdoors overnight. This allows the fibers to regain their natural moisture.

Cleaning
Hand wash:
This is the recommended method for washing our baby alpaca products. It is important to remember that wool can shrink when the temperature changes underwater, so we recommend using room temperature water and white or delicate curd soap (preferably organic).
Of course, if you want, you can also use professional cleaning.

Dry:
Remove excess water, but avoid excessive shaking, folding or wrinkling. We do not recommend the use of dryers. The best option is to let the product rest on a towel and bed (to avoid deformation) and then let it dry in a dry environment or outdoors, but away from direct sunlight. Be sure to stretch garments by hand to reduce wrinkles.

Storage:
It is important to ensure that the garment is completely dry before storing it and that it is also protected from moths. Dried lavender packets can be helpful. We do not recommend the use of mothballs.
