A classic and durable accessory with a relaxing warmth that can be combined in many ways. Its high-quality workmanship makes our scarf special and very comfortable to wear.

The wisdom of an ancient tradition

TASHAY combines tradition and design by cooperating with artisans from Uruguay. There is a story behind every item of clothing. There are more than 10 workshops made up of women, located in rural areas, who weave for many days, specializing in what they like most and then making unique pieces with it. All this is reflected in our product. Each item is manufactured and handed down with dedication, know-how and tradition.

Exclusive – Flexible – Elastic – Durable

Merino wool is one of the most exclusive fibers in the world due to its flexibility, quality and excellent properties. Since wool absorbs moisture, the garments are comfortable in cold and warm temperatures. On hot days, for example, wool absorbs sweat from the body and releases it to the outside, keeping the skin free of sweat. Lastly, merino wool is naturally elastic: it has a natural elasticity, more than any other fiber. Its chemical structure causes it to return to its original shape when we twist or stretch the fibers. This feature guarantees greater durability and resistance. The wool does not wrinkle, but quickly recovers its original state. Lastly, our wool is mulesing free.

100% Merino Wool

Tip: It is better to ventilate once more than to wash. Merino wool is naturally stain resistant and self-cleaning to some extent. Simply leave this product outdoors overnight. This allows the fibers to regain their natural moisture.

Cleaning
Hand wash:
This is the recommended method for washing our merino wool products. It is important to remember that wool can shrink when the temperature changes underwater, so we recommend using room temperature water and white or delicate curd soap (preferably organic).

Of course, if you want, you can also use professional cleaning.

Dry:
Remove excess water, but avoid excessive shaking, folding or wrinkling. We do not recommend the use of dryers. The best option is to let the product rest on a towel and bed (to avoid deformation) and then let it dry in a dry environment or outdoors, but away from direct sunlight. Be sure to stretch garments by hand to reduce wrinkles.

Storage:
It is important to ensure that the garment is completely dry before storing it and that it is also protected from moths. Dried lavender packets can be helpful. We do not recommend the use of mothballs.
