62 Peperomia Cushion

€55,00
Tax included.

Original and always welcome: that's our cream white cushion. This square cushion is handwoven on a loom in Argentina from pure sheep wool using the cut-pile technique. Its soft texture and firm structure make this rustic cushion the perfect companion for sofas, armchairs or beds, adding a special touch to your home. It opens with overlapping flaps at the back; the insert is not included.

The properties of sheep wool

Sheep wool is strong: it can stretch a long way before breaking. It is also elastic, returning to its natural length after stretching, which is why it keeps its shape. It is also hygroscopic: it absorbs moisture from the air when it is humid and releases it when the air is dry. Its fibres can absorb up to 50% of their weight in water.

Firm – elastic – flexible – soft – comfortable – dirt-resistant

100% sheep wool

Tip: airing is better than washing. Simply leave the cushion outdoors overnight so the fibres can regain their natural moisture.

Cleaning
Hand wash: wool can shrink with changes in water temperature, so we recommend using room-temperature water and a mild, neutral soap (ideally organic).
If you prefer, you can also have it professionally cleaned.

Drying
Lay the cushion flat on a towel so it keeps its shape and let it dry in a dry place or outdoors, away from direct sunlight.

Storage
Before storing it, make sure it is completely dry and protected from moths. Sachets of dried lavender can help. We do not recommend mothballs.
