The llamas come from the mountain valleys of the Andes in Argentina up to an altitude of around 4000 m and are kept by small producers and farmers. Shearing is done manually with special scissors for the welfare of the animals, as opposed to machines. The fiber from the producers is purchased at regional markets by Warmi Sayajsunqo Association, respecting fair trade.
Environmentally friendly – fluffy – warm – robust
The llama is a resistant and elegant fiber. This fiber is ideal for winter because it has a very soft touch. Other special features of this noble fiber are hypoallergenic, warm, fluffy, it has excellent insulating properties and also has a temperature-balancing effect. Another bonus is that alpaca has a low environmental impact compared to other natural fibers (biodegradable).
