Our scarf is a great mix of the natural colors beige, light blue and light gray. This particularly impressive blue was made with plants from the region and may vary slightly in intensity from the example shown in the picture. The scarves are made using traditional techniques on looms in South America and are unique. Each one is an aesthetic masterpiece and therefore a real eye-catcher.

Animal welfare and responsibility in every manufacturing process

The llamas' wool is obtained through a manual shearing process that completely respects the animal and does not harm it. The animals are kept in a species-appropriate manner in the wild (this is part of the culture in these regions in the Andes). In this way we ensure animal welfare. Our llama scarves are made locally in various communities in the Andes. Our artisans work using a variety of techniques ranging from hand spinning to hand weaving. This is part of the textile tradition in South America that is passed down from generation to generation and the products are made with local and natural raw materials.

Anti-allergic – Warm – Soft – Breathable – Dirt-repellent

Our llama products provide optimal warmth in winter and when it is warm, this fiber feels cool. Llama fiber is a natural product that “breathes”. In addition, natural llama fiber has an antibacterial effect, meaning that bacteria cannot multiply on its surface and die. Finally, llama fiber is biodegradable. Lama fiber is dirt-repellent and odor-neutralizing, meaning it can release odors when ventilated.

100% llama wool

Tip
It's better to air it out more than to wash it. Llama fiber is naturally dirt-repellent and self-cleaning to a certain extent. Simply leave this product outside in the fresh air overnight. This allows the fibers to regain their natural moisture.

cleaning
Hand wash:
This is the recommended method for washing our llama wool products. It is important to remember that wool can shrink under water due to temperature fluctuations, so we recommend using room temperature water and white or delicate curd soap (preferably organic).

dry
Remove excess water but avoid excessive shaking, folding or creasing. We advise against using tumble dryers. The best option is to let the product rest lying on a towel and bed (to avoid deformation) and then let it dry in a dry environment or outdoors but away from direct sunlight. Be sure to stretch the garments by hand to reduce wrinkles.

storage
It is important to ensure that the garment is completely dry before storage and that it is also protected against moths. Dried lavender packs may be useful. We advise against using mothballs.
